Thoughtfully curated artisanal matchbook art, handmade to adorn your walls and bring a little history to your space.

Stryke Vintage started when I realized my love of nostalgic pieces of the past could be combined with my passion to create art. After creating several pieces for myself, I decided to take the plunge and start up my little shop. It is daunting taking on such an endeavor, but it has quickly become a sweet little corner of my life. Through my social media pages I've had the chance to connect with people from all over, hear about why a matchbook resonates with them, and create special and unique pieces for folks. It is an incredibly special thing to make a piece of art that someone wants to display on their walls, a privilege I cherish. I hope you can take a peek at what I have to offer, and just maybe find something that speaks to you!

Hi! I'm Michelle!

You know how you go to the "about" section on a website to learn about the person behind the products? Yeah? Well, mine isn't that great. Want to know the hardest part of being an artist selling the work you make? Everything else. I truly enjoy making the art - it's just that all the other stuff is...exhausting. Social media, marketing, accounting, website building - I do it all! Just not particularly well. So, this is what we've got on a zero dollar budget! Me! Using far too many explanation points on my website!

Oh. You still want to know a little about me? Okay.

I'm a 30-something living in sunny Charlotte, North Carolina. I've been here for over a decade, but I originally hail from cow-country in upstate New York. I share a home with my husband and our pets - currently a combo of cats and ferrets. I have this problem where I simply believe I can figure things out if I work hard enough at them; this website is a good example of that. My matchbook obsession started a couple of years ago and I love that I get to make art using such fun little pieces of history.

Thanks for stopping by!
